What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and password, via Supabase Auth. Signup is instant; we may not have verified your email address.
• Invitation content — couple and family names, wedding date, ceremony details, and any photos you upload.
• Guest RSVP data — guest name, attendance, guest count, dietary notes, and any message a guest leaves. Dietary notes can include allergy or medical-adjacent information; we collect only what a guest chooses to type into that field.
• Guest accommodation details (Pro) — guest names, room assignments, and pickup notes you enter for guest logistics.
• Gift log (Pro) — guest names, amounts, and notes you choose to record. We never process or have visibility into the actual payment — see "Digital shagun tracker" below.
• Guest contact list (Pro) — names and phone numbers you import via CSV to send WhatsApp invitations, plus a send-status marker.
• Usage data — a basic count of when your published invitation page is viewed, so your dashboard can show you a view/RSVP funnel.

Photos are public

Photos you upload (hero image, gallery) are stored in a public storage bucket and served at a public URL — anyone with the link can view them, whether or not they visit your invitation page. Don't upload a photo you wouldn't want reachable by a direct link.

Digital shagun tracker

If you add a UPI ID, it's shown as a QR code on your published invitation so guests can pay you directly through their own banking app. Saptapadi never custodies, processes, or has visibility into any funds guests send — the QR code is generated locally from your UPI ID and never sent to a third-party service.

Payment data (Pro upgrades)

Pro upgrades are processed by Razorpay. We store the order and payment status, but never your card or UPI credentials — those are handled entirely by Razorpay under their own privacy policy.

How data is stored

All account and invitation data is stored in Supabase (Postgres). Access control is enforced in our application code — guest and invitation data is never queried directly by a browser with elevated privileges. We don't sell your data or your guests' data to third parties.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your invitation, and the guest data attached to it, at any time from your dashboard. Deleting an invitation deletes its RSVPs, accommodation entries, gift log, and guest contact list.
